This reclaimed claw-and-ball foot dining table is fully functional for six diners. The tabletop is ½-inch glass cut to contour the table's rounded corners and rests atop a bed of 1,800 tiny white bulbs.

At each of the six dining spaces words associated with eating--all derived from the word "MEAT"--appear in red lights against the solid white lighting. When the light sequencer is turned on the words randomly pair up in rotation, creating combinations of the phrases: "EAT ME," "EAT MEAT," "FAT ME", etc.

Keeping with Refined Sugar's attention to design detail and wicked humor, the lighting rotation is triggered by an adjustable time delay or through a microphone which reacts according to crescendos in sound.
